🌟 Is all your jewellery handmade?
Yes! Every single piece is handmade by me, Esme, in my little studio in Northamptonshire. I use a technique called lampworking to melt rods of glass in a flame and shape them into beads, one by one. Then I design and assemble the finished jewellery myself, so you’re truly getting something unique and made with care.

🌿 How will my order arrive?

Every order is carefully prepared by hand before beginning its journey to you.

Your jewellery is protected inside an outer shipping box with natural, recyclable packaging materials. Inside, you'll find your piece beautifully presented in either a branded jewellery box or a soft branded pouch, depending on the design you've chosen.

From the moment you open the parcel, I want it to feel like discovering a little treasure from The Glass Apothecary. Every order arrives beautifully presented and ready to gift... even if the lucky recipient happens to be you. 🖤🌿

🖤 What materials do you use?
The glass I use is Italian or German soda-lime glass, beautiful, high-quality, and perfect for jewellery. I carefully kiln-anneal every bead for strength. I use sterling silver or hypoallergenic stainless steel findings unless stated otherwise. Details are always listed on the product pages.

🎁 Can I send an item as a gift?
Absolutely! All of my jewellery comes beautifully boxed in a quality box embossed with our logo, perfect for giving as a gift.

💧 Is it safe to get the jewellery wet?
While a bit of rain won’t hurt, I recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, bathing, or sleeping to keep it looking its best.

📦 Shipping & Customs FAQ

What are the shipping costs?

• UK: £4.50 flat rate, or free on orders over £100.
  

• International: £15 flat rate, or free on orders over £150.
  

📦 How long will it take before my order ships?

Every piece is handmade to order with care. Please allow up to 3 weeks processing time before your order is shipped.

If you need your order sooner, please contact us before placing your order and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Do I need to pay customs fees?

• USA Customers: No surprise fees! ✨ We cover your customs charges upfront, so the price you see at checkout is the final price you’ll pay. Nothing extra when your parcel arrives.
  
• Rest of the World: Shipping costs do not include customs fees. Every country has its own import thresholds and rules. If your order exceeds your country’s allowance, you may be charged customs or import fees. These are your responsibility to pay directly. Unfortunately, we cannot calculate or pre-pay these on your behalf.
