About Us
Welcome to my little corner of the magical world — I’m Esme, the maker behind every charm and piece of jewellery you see here. What began as a love of creativity and colour has grown into a heartfelt business, where molten glass transforms into tiny treasures you can wear.
I’ve been practising the art of lampwork for over 16 years — melting rods of glass in the flame, charm by charm — a slow, intentional craft filled with care and soul. Each piece is handmade in my Northamptonshire studio, where I draw inspiration from nature, folklore, and the quiet power of small things.
For years, I created beads for other makers, but after a whirlwind of new followers and kind messages, I realised so many of you wanted to wear the magic, not just craft with it. That’s when this new journey began: a collection of finished jewellery, designed and handmade by me to bring a touch of wonder into your everyday.
Here you’ll find witchy touches, nature-inspired palettes, and the tiniest details lovingly melted into every piece. Whether it’s a bubbling cauldron, a dreamy mushroom, or a sparkling berry, each design is crafted with imagination, care, and a sprinkle of mischief.
Thank you for being here — I hope you find something that makes you feel just a little more magical. 🖤*
With love,
Esme
The Process
Lampwork is the centuries-old art of shaping glass in the flame. Using a special torch, I melt slender rods of coloured glass until they become molten and glowing. With careful movements, I wind the glass around a thin metal rod (called a mandrel) and shape it using tools, heat, and gravity.
Each charm is built slowly, layer by layer, with details like spots, swirls, petals, or leaves added while the glass is still molten. The finished charm is then placed into a kiln to be annealed — a process of controlled cooling that strengthens the glass and ensures it will last for generations.
It’s a process that demands patience and precision, but it’s also full of play, imagination, and a touch of alchemy. Every single charm is handmade this way, which means no two will ever be exactly alike. Each one carries its own character, its own story, and its own little spark of magic.
